A remaster concept of my original DM3 series of machines.
Lacking the shield and mounted gun I wanted to show a bit more of its shape, hopping to try and play with these more since I'm quiet happy on how the anatomy of these came out in original sketch's.

Drone Mark 3
The hunter: The basic frame of weaponized MD3's. No longer bound to carrying cargo holds and fixing hulls, The hunter excels in performance of speed and strength, as the perfect tool of war, all that's required is the human cortex and spinal column to work as a transformer for the constantly learning and interacting A.I. as it search's for them, finds them and kills them.
black box note: What we had expected the living A.I has gone far off what was originally planned. during the first stages they exhibited a child like states, learning and understanding, but the clash of human emotion and the programing we had designed for it had ruptured and decayed various parts of the brain within a few weeks leaving them at a primitive state when left alone. these outbursts are easily controlled but when set free they show animal like attributes. Last week we sent three on a test hunt, they came back in blood and animal bones ... and they screamed at us, a function I was unaware they had until then.
Other than this slight draw back they still work perfectly, follow orders to the letter, learn, adapt and hunt as designed, I'm sure their attitude is nothing to worry about.
